I normally go to White Marsh but went to the Bel Air location today and never had such a great experience as I had today. Dr Wood is excellent and the staff is fantastic. I will be coming here for now on.

Dr Wood was fantastic! Fun, personable, while maintaining a professional bearing. Couldn’t have enjoyed an eye exam more, which is a very strange thing to say. Jasmine was also fantastic! Fun, friendly, and you could tell she knew her stuff. Helped me decide on frames and explained everything with easy to understand detail. Dr Wood started things out well and Jasmine closed out perfectly. A great experience overall, start to finish.

Tamia was friendly and very helpful . Can not speak for subscriptions or doctor at this location. I was there for sunglasses and readers. Tamia was very helpful and made sure I got my senior/AARP discount. I really appreciate her thoughtfulness and patience. She was a delight. Thank you Tamia.

I have been a regular visitor to the LensCrafters at the Bel Air location since we moved here in 2020, and the experience has always been pleasant. Dr. Wood has been excellent, explaining everything clearly and being very friendly. Tracy has been extremely helpful during the glasses selection process, making it a smooth experience. Unfortunately, our last visit on 7/31/2024, for my oldest son’s eye exam was different. We had to interact with Ms. Kim, who was not very friendly, giving short and rude answers. Understanding that everyone has off days, I decided not to address it at the time and avoid her. Thankfully, Tracy provided wonderful care as always. Yesterday, I missed a call from the location, and when I returned it, Ms. Kim answered and was once again unprofessional and disrespectful. I asked to speak with someone else, but she put me on hold until I eventually hung up. I will continue to visit this location because of the excellent service from Tracy and Dr. Wood, but I will avoid any interaction with Ms. Kim as much as possible.

Dr Wood and his staff was very professional and had a great sense of humor. He explained the eye examination and answered all my questions. His staff members assisted me with finding the perfect set of glasses to fit my face. Thanks for bearing with me.

Lens Crafters in Belair md is great. I love the doctor as well as the girls and the selection of glasses.

Terrible customer service. Took my mom there for an eye exam. The did a pre-screening as asked her to wait outside, while waiting she went to go use the rest restroom by the time she came back she was informed that they will reschedule her appointment because two other individuals have arrived. It was about 1245PM and the proposed time was 330 PM just because she went to the restroom and apparently the so called Dr. felt to important to wait on an elderly lady that went to use the restroom. In order word it's okay for her to wait on him but it's not okay for him to wait on her.. Well let me say this right here clown you are not important, whatever or whomever you think you are, you are not it. In other words go (fill in the blank) yourself. We will never come back nor will anybody that I know.

I arrived at 10:10 for my appointment at 10:20 and did not get seen until 11:20. The doctor was not even there until 10:50 and then proceeded to take another patient first who arrived 15 minutes after I did. I understand that people are busy but this is simply unacceptable and a waste of my time. I had another appointment at 11:30 that I had to cancel because of how long it took to get seen. No one even apologized for the ridiculous wait. The only reason I gave two stars was because of the one of the ladies who sized my glasses was very helpful.

Dr Wood, Andrea, and the staff were exceptional. No complaints here. They were personable and efficient and it didn't take long at all. I got my eye exam, started my glasses order, and was out. It felt like a well-oiled machine.

Had a wonderful experience. The doctor was thorough and friendly. There was up to date and advanced equipment. The staff were all super helpful. Andrea and Kim were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable with our glasses selection. This is our new place for eye exams and glasses.

Who would go into Macy's to buy new pairs of eyeglasses? Well, at Harford Mall in Bel Air, we've been to LensCrafters. Tucked just inside the front Macy's door is a compact LensCrafters shop. The layout is deceptively small. There are hundreds of different frames filling the drawers as well as the shelves all around you. Unlike VisionWorks, at LensCrafters, Tamia immediately welcomed us with a charming smile & a genuine hello. She offered to help, asked key questions about the characteristics of the frames we'd like to wear & went looking for them, to fit the small sizing my wife needed. Alternatively, in VisionWorks, no one will help you find your frames: they leave you to do it for yourself. But at LensCrafters, our assistant Tamia could not have been more helpful. She offered advice on many topics, & always illustrated the differences between our options by showing us lenses that were in the store. The LensCrafters prices include a 50% lens discount for AARP & AAA. VisionWorks discounts 50% only for AAA. LensCrafters will sell you genuine VariLux lenses, not just other manufacturers' best (but poorer) imitations of VariLux. The small size of this inside-Macy's store is deceptive. If you want to be welcomed warmly, treated as a friend, advised by an experienced assistant, and helped in finding the right frames for you, as well as the lenses & treatments that will best meet your needs, we highly recommend Tamia at the Harford Mall Macy's LensCrafters store.

Both the Doctor and his assistant was very nice and explained everything to me clearly which made it a very pleasurable experience for me... They both deserve a raise...🤗

We had a very positive experience with my son getting his eye exam and glasses today. Tamia was very patient as my son changed his mind on the frames he wanted after she was almost complete with placing the order. She explained all the options without trying to over sell and found an available discount for us as well which was added plus.

I always go to lenscrafters for my glasses needs. I'm newer to maryland so I went to the white marsh location. It was nice. Recently I went to the bel air location in Macy's on June 6th. Andrea and Tracey were phenomenal and really had a 10/10 customer service. I work retail myself and it was refreshing and genuine to get the same type of energy back that I like to give to my own customers. They made the entire process so easy and entertaining. I will definitely return to this location for all future prescription needs. Those ladies deserve a raise and some extra PTO. Great job!

Dr Wood completed my eye exam in a polite and professional manner. He explained the condition of my eyes in a way I was able to understand. I was able to easily select a new frame from variously priced items. I would recommend Lenscrafters at Macy's to anyone needing new eye wear.

Let me preface this by saying I've worn glasses for 28 years and have NEVER had a single issue with any new pair. That is, until I went to this LensCrafters. And now I can say I've had issues with 2 pairs because after 300$ and over a month of waiting, the remade first pair was still incorrectly fit/measured.

The service at the LensCrafters in the Bel Air Mall is great. I went in to get my glasses repaired and Adero saw me right away. She was friendly and fixed the glasses quickly. It's a great store.

This review is long overdue, but lucky for us (customers), the staff at LensCrafters BelAir provides exceptional service consistently. I would be remiss if I didn't drop a name, specifically Tamia Evans. This young lady takes her time to give you her substantive feedback on your eyewear selections. She will give you a “yay, nay, let's keep looking.” And I so appreciate and love that! I started using the service at the BelAir location about 3-yrs ago and have not been disappointed. Once the service continues to exceed expectations (as it currently does), I don't intend to stop my patronage. One must leave a business satisfied, and I feel content during and after each visit. Thank you, Ms.Evans and Team.

the staffs were friendly. I was acknowledged by Tamia as soon as I approached the counter with a welcoming smile. Doctor Wood was friendly and knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed. He explained to me about the condition of my eyes and solutions. Tracey spent time to help me to choose an eyeglass that I want. She patiently listened to my needs and offered a best solution to fit my budget and needs. I would highly recommend this location for anyone who needs glasses.
