Incredible customer service at the optometrist

I had an appointment at 240p for my elderly mother who has very limited mobility. It was 11 days before Christmas so Nashville West was insanely packed with Christmas shoppers. We were 15 minutes late due to traffic and finding parking. I had to pick my mother up from her memory care facility in her wheelchair to get her there and they would not even see her. Very disappointed at the lack of empathy toward our situation as I explained this and they barely blinked an eye of concern or understanding. I had spoken to Visionworks earlier in the week and they fit us in. Not impressed with the quality of service provided by lens crafters.

The gentleman who helped me was friendly and knowledgeable. Love my new glasses.

We recently had to switch to lens crafters for insurance purposes and we really love the team here. We are always in and out quickly and have every need met. This is a fantastic store to go to for all your eyewear needs!

2 visits, same results. Terrible customer service.

My husband was in an accident this week and his glasses broke. He went in today to get new frames, the associate man grabs the display frames and proceeds to use those as the replacement glasses. My husband asked if he was receiving the displays and the guy says yes that’s all we have in stock. Then goes to tell my husband too bad I have to charge you $176 when it could’ve been $25 your warranty just expired a few days ago. Very unprofessional for him to say this, and then not even provide a discount for giving display frames not even brand new ones. We’ve been very satisfied with LensCrafters until this experience.

Purchasing here was smooth and luxurious, I love getting my glasses from LensCrafters they always last a long time and they always have some great deals going on. Left this place very happy. Thanks to the staff especially Jeremy 🩷🙏🏻

I would just like to say how phenomenal store 107 is. I had a frame defect reveal its ugly self causing the designer decal to dislodge on the side of my then frames. This team worked to get my replacement frames under my insurance plan. I am so grateful for them and especially Jeremy for his kind approach in customer service. I most certainly left this location each time feeling valued and would recommend this location for its efficiency and all your optometry needs. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and didn’t hover while I tried on different frames, but were close enough to assist when I needed help. I would’ve liked to have had a little more budget friendly variety of frames but all in all there were some pretty great choices to choose from. The store was clean and inviting and I will definitely visit again.

This store is a scam. They are understaffed and underqualified. They don’t have the proper people working to be able to get your glasses and blame it on the state. Go anywhere other than here.

Not sure if it’s just this lens crafters or all of them but this store has become just the worst. They have had so much theft at this store I think it’s heavily affected the staff and service. Paid for glasses on the 26th of November. Got a call 10 days later to pick them up (mind you, you can only pick up 3 days out of the week that change because they are so understaffed ) I go in to pick up my glasses. And only the lenses were there. They pulled the display model down and I opted to wait for new frames as the glasses were to expensive to have to wear something countless people had tried on. They said it was going to be another up to two weeks. I said ok and left. I called 14 days later and someone said that my frames had come in however the tech to put the lenses in won’t be in til tomorrow and your glasses should be ready by Saturday before Christmas but we will call you when they are ready. No one ever called and the holidays carried on. I finally called on the 4th on January and asked for a refund for glasses I never received. There response was ok they have been just sitting here ready for pick up for over a week and it says we called you ( on the day I called ) I said I called them but no one ever called to say they were ready. Then she said ok I’ll return these and if I need anything from you I will call. Now don’t get me wrong I’m not blaming any particular person from the store I think this is a deeper level of a company not giving a s*** but it’s so expensive just to be able to see and on top of that getting bad service. At some point enough is enough. I’ve bought several pairs over the course of years from lens crafters and to have them not deliver on someone I’ve already paid for then say we don’t really care just go away was a real bummer. Go to the store or don’t I don’t care it’s just a bummer more and more service seems to be going the way of just no one giving a s***.

Went in to have my glasses adjusted. No one in there, they tell me they don't have anyone to do it. The 2 people there are very rude. All the old employees have left and they were the best. Always helped a customer no matter what. Someone needs to teach them customer service. If you don't like your job don't work there.

The optometrist and staff were wonderful even in a busy store, I felt taken care of and not rushed. I had a very positive experience the best in Nashville since I moved here 10 years ago. I didn't give 5 stars because I felt even though they have a large selection of glasses, many were the same styles, I would like to see a better variety. Just my personal preference. I did find a frame I really liked and the price was reasonable. This will be my new eye Dr. and glasses experts! Thank you for the great customer service! Update: It had been almost two weeks and I had not received a call about my glasses, I called the store and I was informed the glasses were in (this was a Friday afternoon) but they would not have an optometrist until Monday. I waited until Monday, no phone call. I called again on Monday, I was told I could come and pick them up. I arrived an hour before they closed (my fault for arriving that late) and there were four other people waiting to pick up their glasses as well. The optometrist walked over with a staff person to the waiting area and handed everyone their glasses. My glasses were loose on my face but she had a cough and wasn't wearing a mask and I didn't want to give them back to her to adjust and I also felt rushed by them to get out of the store. My experience was great up until then. Here I am typing my review and pushing up my computer glasses every 10 minutes... sigh...

I'm trying to figure out why this location is even opened? There's never an optometrist here so what's the point. Then they are only opened business hours while the world is at work. Very disappointed.

This location of LensCrafters has not met my expectations. I have driven across Nashville three times now. Each time they tell me that they must have a licensed optician present in order to process my glasses warranty request. I was assured that a licensed optician would be in the store today, Sunday December 10th. Maybe the fourth time tomorrow will be the charm.

Call before you go!!!! Do not go to west Nashville location!!! Went to pick up glasses and they would not give them to my husband because they did not have an optician working. The manager working is not an optician??? Why are you open? This is the 4th visit trying to get the correct glasses. So frustrating

Overall experience wasn’t bad although I did feel that the employees were more focused on their commissions instead of the best interest of the patient. Advertising a great product along side an inferior one for the sake of a sell is a little shady to me. Copay was higher than usual for the exams. I ended up leaving without glasses or contacts unfortunately.

I had a WONDERFUL experience at this LensCrafters location. I normally go to Costco for an exam, glasses, and contacts, but they don’t accept my new insurance. The receptionist suggested LensCrafters and that they take walk-ins. LensCrafters got me right in and I can say I’ve never had a better experience. I had given up on contacts because I couldn’t find any that didn’t feel like I had sand in my eyes after a few hours. Dr. Johnson was so knowledgeable and helpful. He was confident that I would be pleased with a brand he suggested and he was spot on. At the end of the day, I forgot I was even wearing them! Every staff member was friendly and welcoming. I especially appreciated not feeling pressured by a sales pitch. I’m so glad to have stumbled upon this gem!

Incredible business! Far superior to standard eyeglass store. First their very skilled optometrist gives a wide series of tests on state of the art, high tech machines. He was able to catch signs of possible problems in my future and will be following up with me. The eyeglass selection is outstanding, they carry all the Big Designer Brands. Thanks to a great sale, I was able to buy a pair of Purple Ray Bans for just $202.00!! LensCrafters is my future go to for all my eye needs! I recently had a Screw fall out so I returned to LENS CRAFTERS. They took care of me immediately and also replaced a Screw from my back up glasses that I had purchased 2 years ago from a competitors store. They were super attentive and replaced both screws at bo charge! Fantastic. From now on Lens Crafters will be my 1ST Stop when it's time for new glasses. I especially look forward to the much more thorough, comprehensive Eye Exam with much greater confidence.

Dr. Johnson was very thorough, took his time and explained the exam, explained his recommendations and answered all our questions. The entire staff was very courteous and very friendly. We are extremely pleased with our service!

My frame broke while visiting Nashville which caused much anxiety as I am in the medical profession and have to be able to see very small details on the 4th of July. Upon arrival I saw the power was out and the door locked. About to leave, a very cordial woman opened it and asked what I needed. Explaining the situation she said to come in and she would try. The entire staff went beyond what 99% of people would do even with power! They solved the issue in less than 10 minutes and refused any payment. Can’t praise this business enough!!

Great service from Bridget and Dr. Lehmann thanks so much! Our eyes are everything to us! Came back again for this year's annual exam! Saw Bridget again she's great and took great care of me before I saw Dr. Johnson this time who was great at communicating about my vision and explained everything in detail. Then saw Jeremy who got me taken care of with my glasses order, reviewed my insurance coverage and what was covered specifically. Highly recommend this place!! Thank you all!

This location is by far our favorite! They always go above & beyond to make sure you have the best experience. The employees are always kind & very patient! I highly recommend Ashley she’s always happy & just brings such a joyful vibe. Our WHOLE family comes here. It’s definitely worth it you won’t be disappointed!!!
