I had a very pleasant experience with Lens-Crafters recently. The associates were very kind and patient with me. On the first day I picked out my new frames, made the appointment for my eye exam and I received an affordable estimate. An associate explained everything to me in detail so I could better understand what all I was investing in. On the second day, a few days later, I received my eye exam from a virtual doctor. This was new for me but she was able to get the job done well. I haven’t had prescription glasses for about 20 years(LASIK) so I didn't know what to expect. The virtual doctor was very professional with her examination and she explained her assessment clearly. The associate who was with me during the exam then escorted me to the lobby where she kindly took measurements for my new frames. Next was the cost of everything. It was better than I expected especially with all the offers they provided. The eye exam was $118, the frames I picked out were $144 and the lens were $350 after the discount for purchasing new frames. I couldn’t be more pleased about the total cost. I’m expecting my new specs in about two weeks so I’ll provide an update of my experience of day three later. Follow-up: On New Year’s Day(day three) I got my new glasses and I’m very pleased. So pleased that I encouraged my significant other to get a pair or two from LensCrafters as well. And yes, they were open on New Year’s Day. What a great gift.

The Lencrafters in Sumter, SC was very helpful and professional. I was in the store on 11/30/24. I called to see if a frame was in stock. They made the drive from Florence worth it. I will definitely return and recommend them to all my friends and colleagues. The customer service on the phone and in person far exceeded my expectations . These ladies deserve to be recognized for a job well done.

I had a wonderful experience at the LensCrafters at Sumter Mall! From my very first visit, I was impressed by the staff and their efficient use of technology to streamline the prescription process. A few weeks later, I encountered a significant issue with my contact lens order and rushed in just before closing (like a knuckle-head). Instead of irritation, the two staff members greeted me and the other latecomers with warmth and genuine smiles. I felt incredibly fortunate to receive such outstanding service, and I observed the same care extended to the customer next to me. This location is truly staffed with rockstars! I highly recommend LensCrafters for your next eye appointment!

Very Nice glasses for a good price and very good service

As usual, the LC sales representative was courteous, very professional and efficient in selecting lenses for some very special frames I brought from home which belonged to my deceased husband. I was very pleased!

My mother had an appointment scheduled for 9 am, which she confirmed days prior. She arrived at 8:45 am, and at 9:20 am, the store was still closed - lights off, no employees. She decided to leave at this time. This is poor business and customer service.

Got an eye exam. They spelled my name wrong and got my prescription wrong. Got a new prescription and they got my lenses wrong. Yeah. I ended up buying two pairs of glasses at $300 each from LensCrafters, neither of which were correct. I had to go somewhere else and get an eye exam and another pair of glass. LensCrafters didn't fix the problem then when I brought it to their attention at that time and I'm not going to give them a third chance to take my money.

I had a very positive experience here. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for glasses. Their service was exceptional and kind and informative. Anna was so helpful in helping me select the right frames. I look forward to getting my new glasses in a couple of weeks.

I like the Lenscrafter in Sumter. They have always been friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I bought eye glasses from my doctor's office. They didn't fit right. I came to Kenscrafters and Anna was most helpful. She greeted me immediately and helped me . I was in/out in less than 10 minutes. Always a pleasant experience.

I went this morning got an eye exam, the lady that did my exam was very sweet and so was the eye Dr virtually only. When I went to the front to orders my lenses I sat down and we talked about what I wanted. I brought my own frames Dolce G. So I didn't need to order frames , the lady at the front talk to me about transition colors I choice gray. Then she said it will be 606 total eye exam and lenses only. I was in shocked never paid 500 for lenses , . I told her no thank you to the lenses and got the prescription from lens crafter. I went went to walmart vision and got the same lenses she was charging me 560 for 170. I was in disbelief how much lens crafter charges for the same product. Never will use them again.

Close to the end of my 1 year guarantee. Took a fall at work damaging my frames. Contacted the Sumter mall LensCrafter to tell them of my problem. That's when they said you are covered and we have your frames in stock. Came in the next day and had new frames in less than 20 minutes. Thank you LensCrafters.

had a pleasant time purchasing glasses from here, but that's mostly thanks to Anna who helped me find the perfect frame. she was very sweet and gave me lots of good advice on what kinds of add ons I should've bought for my glasses (I need a lot of add ons bc of my high prescription and astigmatism). will definitely come again!

The staff was so friendly and helped me pick out the perfect frames for my prescription! They took their time and did not make me feel rushed at all. They also explained everything and went over different types of lenses that would be the best fit for me. 5 stars all the way!

I absolutely love this place, the staff is nice and friendly and make you feel very welcome. If you want a place that cares about your eyes and not just about throwing you prescription glasses to get your money then go here.All my life of getting eye exams and glasses and no one ever told me I am in danger of going blind, until I came here and found out the type of condition, and what I have could have been caught and treated years ago when I was a teenager, That was umpteen years ago. Now I have to see a specialist to save my sight. They really made me feel important and kind of put there foot down to see the specialist to take control of the condition before I lose my sight. (I love that). Other than that The prices for there frames are pretty reasonable and there designer. Excellent customer service!! 😊

All right. So if you've been here, you know that their system does not always work properly. The first time I went in the system was not working at all. So they rescheduled me, and when I went in the second time they had to manually enter my stuff. But they did end up coming my exam. The staff is always friendly and professional. I walked away today buying a pair of lenses and sunglasses and loved working with them.

Anna saved my life. She fixed the unfixable(my broken glasses). Not from the area and literally couldn’t see. I’d recommend her and this location to anyone.
