Ms. Kathy at the Harbison location was perfect! Very helpful, extremely educational on what we needed for a new pair of glasses. Highly recommend when visiting to ask for Kathy!

First eye exam ever. Glad I chose them. Dr. Abbassi was the best , at explaining everything. Wasn't sure if they had to shoot air in my eyes. But the technology is way advanced so no to that (could left my husband at home lol). I don't have vision insurance so I paid out of my pocket. Only $715. 00 for Eye Exam, Glasses and Frames. Not to Shabby..

The store manager is great he has always made me feel welcomed and helped me out a lot. Always greeted me and was genuine. I don’t know who the lady is with the blonde tipped hair issue is but she acted like I did not exist while being at the front counter and decided to help other people two who walked in after me and even offered them a place to sit to try on their glasses. I was not given the same respect.

The absolute worst. My wife went there because they are one of the few places that accept her insurance. Her glasses broke last summer, so we went to get them replaced; she can’t see without her bifocals. First the exam: it didn’t even take ten minutes. The doctor ‘recommended’ (guessing they’re on commission) getting sunglasses covering just the far portion of her prescription, an every day pair, and one for work where she sits at the computer all day to reduce eye fatigue. After maybe 10 days her glasses were ready. The prescription was so far off, she couldn’t see anything except with the sunglasses and it had to be really far away. No apologies. They ordered an another eye exam, and she had to go back a third time. She went for her eye exam, waited over a hour before anyone helped her, then wouldn’t do the exam because they couldn’t find the original glasses. The ‘doctor’ offered to tweak the prescription without doing another exam, which seemed like wasting even more time, and she needed her glasses. They refunded the money for the glasses that we paid for, and said they would reverse the insurance charged for the first pair and the exam so she could go somewhere else. Which they never did, screwing her over. Still no apologies. …oh, and the sunglasses are absolutely useless while driving. While she can see the road, she can’t see anything inside the vehicle. Go anywhere else, just awful. She had to keep wearing the broken pair or pay out of pocket for another exam and new pair of glasses. Update to their response: Finally an apology...maybe while you're on this site, take a moment to Google 'best customer service in the industry' and see that is not a copy and pasted response. My wife's insurance finally reset for the year, she can now go and get a proper eye exam and new glasses somewhere else. She no longer has to deal with broken glasses like she has the past six months thanks to LensCrafters.

I purchased Ray-Ban Meta eyewear on December 23, 2024 and was told that they were available. Had I known that they would not be available, I could have ordered directly from the company. I was given the 7-10 days spill but they never came. I was then told January 13, 2025. Well that’s today and now I’ve been told that I will still not receive my purchase. I purchased glasses because I needed them and I have waited long enough. An associate called me back to tell me they don’t know when I will receive my paid for eyewear and that is not acceptable. I don’t want a gift card as I will not ever use your company again but I do need a definite date or a full refund.

The South Carolina stores are very unprofessional and don’t help anyone and broke my glasses and I’m not getting any help

Super convenient, very quick and efficient. The best variety designer frames and styles.

The staff are unprofessional and unproductive. I called and called the store for two days, left a voicemail. No callback and walked in the store on the second day and found the staff standing, sitting down, and just talking to each other. One of the ladies said ALL CALLS go to their call center which I know is not true because they have an option for that through the automated system and I selected the option to speak to some at this particular location!

Total nightmare..From the Doctors to the super dusch..teck...they have.. Customer service is a 45 minute on the phone hold . Go to Sam's club This place is over priced...and for crap..

Great experience ordering new glasses. Easy to do with expert help from Tory D. I needed to replace an old pair of glasses (some scratches and lens deterioration). Great service and very good price with my vision care insurance plan.

Didn’t enjoy the experience at all. Customer service was little to none. It was all about how they could make the most money and upselling on everything. They also slid in a $39 fee that’s nowhere listed on the site or when booking an appointment. I hate surprises and I also don’t like feeling like I HAVE to buy something especially with no notice. My husband found glasses he liked but was with no help from the staff the doctor did the most work, which was the exam. Definitely will not return and will stick with family or local opticians

Very disappointed. Had an appointment in 2023 everything was fine. I scheduled an appointment for eye exam in Oct 24 and get a call saying my insurance isn’t active and I need to bring an updated card in. Ok so I go to appointment and am told it’s not my card it’s the dr on staff that doesn’t accept my particular insurance. They said they could set me another appointment for a dr who did take my insurance. I took time off of work for this appointment. They could have told me that to begin with instead of my card is inactive. I missed out on making money bc of y’all. Time is money people. Respect peoples time!

The store manager was amazing in his service & kindness to me today. I walked in the store with a broken frame. He took his time to find me the perfect frame. Replaced the lens efficiently. I told him I wanted the old frame back because my late husband & I picked it out together. So he saved it for me and when I asked him how much I owned for the new frame, he said “Nothing!”. The frame was on him. I was so touched by his kindness & sincerity towards me. I was VERY emotionally when I left the store after giving him a hug. A complete stranger’s kindness helped a grieving widow feel a little better today. What a BLESSING he is. I wish I can remember his name but I was so distraught.

The optometrist is fine but the other part is awful as far as customer service. At glasses pick up, the woman just handed me the glasses without putting heat on them or anything.

Kim was very professional and nice, she assisted me in picking the frame that would look best on me. Very friendly and it didn’t take long. Thanks Kim.

Bad service. Bad information. Really great at telling you the eye doctor is separate except when it comes to billing. Save time and money and go somewhere else.

Worse pair of glasses I've ever gotten. It was pretty much self service when I went to get them. No one was interested in helping me. She only measured me and took my money. When I went to get them, the same. Here you go. I finally told him they were to high. His response was, maybe I can bend the nose piece some. The long range part is 1/2" wide. The bifocal part is 1/2" wide. But the normal viewing part is just a little slit and I am constantly trying to get things into focus. Never again.

Great experience the eye doctor was great and pleasant to work with. The selection of glasses were great and Juan Andres Took his time to show me tons of glasses until I had the perfect pair picked out. I appreciate the whole experience.

I came to lenscrafters after a dismal experience at another company. I was blown away by Kathryn and her wonderful customer service. Firstly, I am covered head to toe in tattoos (neck, hands, the works.) So, I get a lot of discrimination when it comes to retail workers. Ms. Kathryn treated me not just like a customer but as a human being. She gave me nothing but honesty and kindness. She even gave me a run through on progressive lenses (these are my first pair of progressives) the other company didn't do that. I would recommend this location but have to advise you to ask for Ms. Kathryn she's as sweet and knowledgeable as they come.

Their professionalism, positive energy and thorough attention were exceptional. What an incredible team. I highly recommend them for you eye care.

I had a wonderful experience, great customer service and a wonderful doctor. Karen helped me so much with glasses and sunshade selection and explained all the coverage and pricing. Absolutely would highly recommend.

I didn't have an appointment but Ms. Gisele saw me right away. She was amazing. I came after being given an outrageous quote by my optometrist to update the lenses in my frames. Ms. Gisele was very understanding and worked with me to get the best value. She was so amazing at assisting me, crosschecking things, and even waiting whilst I made selections. At no time did I feel pressured and in the end I ended up purchasing new frames and lenses for my glasses and sunglasses. I will hands down return in the future as Ms. Gisele was so honest and amazing. Thank you so much!

I have been getting eye exams since I was 8 years old. Len Crafters at Columbiana Mall was the best experience I have ever had. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so nice and helpful. I was taken in on time and everyone was so professional. I will never go anywhere else.

Do not believe the price they tell you for the exam even with insurance. Signed a document stating it would be $69 and had a $120 bill. The bait and switch the contact exam to a premium contact fitting with out notice. Stay away and go somewhere else.

Judy, whose position I'm assuming would be called something similar to a sales rep, is awesome. She was personable, very helpful, knowledgeable, and freakin' hilarious too. Great experience.

All the staff was cordial and kind. Our doctor really made sure we had no questions or concerns. They carry a beautiful assortment of frames. I was very happy with my service.

Sometimes people deserve more than ‘five stars’. That is the case with Judy at Lens Crafters at the Columbiana Mall location. Friendly and sincere putting your happiness and satisfaction foremost in your decision. Frames, lenses and how they look on you 😜 are shared in the entire conversation. She is the type of employee that most companies are wishing they had. I guess that is why this location has so many great reviews is because of Judy and those like her.

My experience was everything! They were quick, efficient and the staff was top notch and made me feel welcomed and comfortable (especially Ms. Judy)🥰. Will definitely be coming back and bringing my family.

Kathy was a huge help on getting my lenses back in place after I tried Sunglass hit and it could not be solved.
