While casualty shopping for new glasses my husband & I stopped into LensCrafters. We were immediately met by a very pleasant woman who was very knowledgeable & attentive. Their selection was good in the great value collection. The entire transaction went smoothly & the final cost after insurance was reasonable. She even cleaned & fixed my husband's current glasses to make them fit better. My husband purchased metal rims, lined bifocals, scratch resistant lenses & anti glare & insurance. Ordinarily these would be very expensive, but with the special pricing & insurance we paid under $200.00 which is affordable. The service was exceptional, but I can't say yet if the finished product will be perfect, however, we were told no matter what they would make it right at no cost. My husband was pleased with his selection & the service he received. I would highly recommend. Go on a Sunday afternoon, it's quiet & they can spend more time with you. Ask about the specials with or without insurance.

My first time ever visiting the store and I had a great experience. The staff was wonderful and the selection of frames was great.

I felt it was rushed, as it's probably due to time constraints. She wasn't very personable. I had two glasses I used and I wasn't sure which was the current. She looked at one and not the other. I felt like she didn't care that I used a pair of glasses from 2004. I had so many I used. I also didn't get time to fill out the questionnaire. Was very little patient to Dr. interactions... I felt she was annoyed at me between the 1 lens or 2 lens, which was hard to choose... they were so close or didn't give a 3 lens option that may have been better yet, Im empathic, i can feel people and those around me. Idk why they suggested trifocals.. I'm in the mid-50s. I read without glasses just fine. I see the dash of my truck fine, just cannot see to text on the phone unless I enlarge the font size; which is a good thing without looking over top of glasses. I may get a second opinion later in June with my Dr in Connellsville, PA. In the front end, my experience was much better with the store manager. I am on a low budget and I couldn't afford the verilux lenses... but I dont want the coke-bottles look. I deal with the public every day and I drive constantly. The glasses I got were so bad that I had a very small area for distance at the top, and everything else was blurry with the trifocal and bifocal. I'd talk to family and they were blurry, walk up or down steps, blurry... I didn't like them. Returned them, I await the new result. Overall experience: Dr was rushed, not very personable, front end a far, far, better experience. I am disappointed in eye insurance. I ended up paying more on my end than what the insurance covered.
