KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.

- MaryAnn is Wonderful at the Strongsville Ohio store. This is the 3rd time I have purchased glasses there. Also very impressed and pleased wth the Eye Doctor.
Her last name starts with an A. Very pleasedResponse from LensCrafters Strongsville, OHMarch 20, 2020Hi Dorene! Thank you for your review. And your loyalty! We are excited to hear MaryAnn was able to help make your experience at LensCrafters a wonderful one. We look forward to seeing you again! - My appointment was at LensCrafters in SouthPark and their system crashed while they were running my work benefit card. It shows on my end that it's pending but not on their end. What the hell is happening to us 2 times in less than 24 hours 🤣. So the amazing manager, Maryanne, came over and she was like you know what - I'm just done with this, grabbed her credit card and said she’s paying for my glasses!! She said it’s not my fault that their system messed up and if she ran my card through again it would hold both transactions till at least Monday - if I had any pending transactions (like RX) it would deny them. She said “we are multi-million dollar company and they need this to stop happening”. She insisted that she will get her money back from them! She spent $200 of her own money 3 days before Christmas...I almost cried! ❤️ I will recommend LensCrafters, SouthPark to everyone!!!Response from LensCrafters Strongsville, OHJanuary 21, 2020Hi Heredos! That is awesome to hear! We appreciate your review and hope to see you again!
- I had a very polite encounter with the employees. I was able to read without holding the book close to my face. Unfortunately, now I can't read the television listings for the programs via my tv menu. They appear blurry and make my eyes hurt. Since I got trifocals, I thought I was finished with these type of problems. I don't know if it was the doctor's prescription or the optician's work.Response from LensCrafters Strongsville, OHJanuary 13, 2020Hi Deborah, thank you for your review. Vision care is our number one priority. Please come back to our store so we can fix the problem with your glasses.
- The staff were friendly, professional, and processed the exchange for my lenses quickly. They completed the exchange via phone and all I had to do was come in a week later when the lenses arrived and they swapped them out. Thank you for the easy exchange process and the excellent customer service!Response from LensCrafters Strongsville, OHNovember 12, 2019Hi Ron! Thank you for your review.
