I am about to turn 50 in July, I don’t even remember my last eye exam. Everyone here was very friendly and fun. They really made it a good experience. When I arrived the store was packed but my wait times were very minimal. The staffs attitude made it really nice. I’m very happy I chose them!

I made a quick stop before work at lens crafters because my glasses string broke and thanks to Joanna, she got me back out on the road ready to go very quickly!

Stay as far away as possible. Glasses were never made right after several attempts and no refund.

If I could give this zero starts I would. I booked an appt. online. It said i would get an email to enter my insurance information. I never got an email. I got a call from the office about 45 minutes after booking the appointment. They said that i had to pay out of pocket because they couldn't find my insurance info. I told them I had it right here with me. They said all they had was an old eyemed policy that was expired. Yes - yes it was because it's January 2025 and I switch from eyemed to a different provider - WHICH DOES COVER LENSCRAFTERS. The person just kept restating that i had to pay out of pocket because my eyemed coverage has expired.. I told her this was ridiculous and to cancel my appointment. I have since rescheudled at a different location and guess what. They took my coverage just fine. Avoid this joke of a location at ALL COSTS.

I had a wonderful experience. I was treated with kindness & respect. The atmosphere was pleasant and the sales associate assisted with my selection of frames and lenses.

I have the highest regards for S. Rogers D.O. who has always shown professionalism and kindness during examinations. Always a pleasant experience getting a prescription. When selecting my frames I was helped by Michael who was very helpful in going over all options with me in great detail. I very much appreciated his help. This location has set the bar for good service!

Two people at the counter neither one assisted me or the other older lady. The older lady told me that no one is going to help you and she was right. A young man came in after us and the young man at the counter immediately assisted him.

WOW REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE I had hip replacement one week ago and need glasses. I find what I want on line but still have questions so I call Lens Crafters at Dayton Mall. ME Joanna Pollard told me she was only one in store and had 3 customers waiting but she took time to hear what I was looking for and do a quick search that showed the model was not in stock. she took my number and called back one hour later. She said she had searched other locations on line and since item was a sale item that was was very likely sold out. she offered to get together four or five similar styles for my review and we discussed my requirements. I agreed to come to the store in 2 hours, My wife has to drive me and we arrive 2 hrs later and ask for Joanna She waves and shouts out that she's with another customer and "I FOUND THE EXACT FRAMES YOU WERE LOOKING FOR". Wow. 15 minutes later I had the frames I wanted , at the sale price, and an extra $50 discount for my troubles. I gave her my prescription and I'll have my new glasses in about 10 days. On top of all this great service , I had called 2 other locatios who also said it was out of stock and hung up. Jonna went the extra mile and she got the job done,. GO SEE HER FOR YOUR VISION NEEDS<> SHE"S GREAT

I just experienced one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had during my life as a customer of thousands of vendors. I went into this store to get glasses adjusted. The technician broke my glasses, then tried to hide the fact. When I asked why the rep was on her computer and not adjusting my glasses, she owned up to the fact that she had broken my glasses. The rep then left our table and started looking for other frames that she didn’t even have the courtesy to have me involved with. She said this was my lucky day. I said I didn’t want other frames, I wanted mine fixed. She said that was not possible because my frames were no longer available at Lenscrafters’s but were available at 3rd party vendors. I again reiterated that I wanted my original frames back and repaired. I then asked to speak with manager Nicky, and had to wait 20 minutes for her to be available. This was the worst part of my experience. Nicky told me I was lucky to have Lenscrafters’s offer a substitute frame that I didn’t want or choose. She said it was Lenscrafters’s policy that if a customer came in the store and Lenscrafters’s broke their glasses, it was the customer’s responsibility and the blame was not placed on Lenscrafters’s. I told Nicky she and the store needed additional customer service training. She pushed back and said the store customer service response was absolutely top notch and needed no comments on or engagement in additional training. Both rep and Nicky both did everything in their power to push me out of the store and not recognize any liability on their part. All I wanted was my original frames back and repaired. Nicky and the store were unwilling to do either. From my estimation, Nicky is badly misplaced as a store manager and in this type of business. Also the store needs some reminder of why they are there to provide a service and who ultimately pays their salaries. I will not welcome a follow up from Nicky or the rep who serviced me, but will welcome a call back from the district manager with the goal of improving the operation of the Dayton mall store.

Michael did a great job helping to replace my glasses with a new prescription. He was able to find the same frames as my old glasses and get them ordered for me. Great service as always that keeps me coming back to this LensCrafters.

Excellent service my Michael. Was disappointed that this store no longer makes glasses onsite. That was LensCrafters glasses in say 2 hours. Now back to waiting 7-10 days.
