Had such a great experience and it was only brief. I needed the lenses wired back in the frames of two glasses and it was done so quickly. I recommend anyone in the area in need of glasses service to come here!

Went to 12 Oaks with my husband he was going to the Oakley store. I was in need of a new eye exam and glasses. We were greated by Steve. He was very kind and helpful. He added me to the list for an exam TODAY. We waited only 15min I was helped by Dartella she was super nice and informative. My optometrist was Dr. Brown she was efficent and kind. Very pleased with our experience Steve went above and beyond with his customer service. I left happy with a current eye prescription and the new Meta Ray Bans in cat eyed frames! Thank you all again!

I had a very disappointing experience at this optical store. During the eye exam, I repeatedly emphasized the importance of measuring my pupillary distance (PD). However, they made it clear that if I wasn’t purchasing glasses from them, they would not provide this information. This is incredibly unprofessional, as PD is a standard part of any comprehensive eye exam and crucial for getting properly fitting glasses. It felt like they were withholding information to pressure me into buying from them. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you value transparent and professional service.

Wonderful experience! It was quick and easy to make an appointment online. Dr. Pamela Brown was amazing and explained everything super thoroughly, which I greatly appreciated!

Every part of my experience at Lens Crafters at 12 Oaks Mall was excellent. I got a same day appointment. The location is convenient and attractive. I do not like getting eye exams as I have small eyes that the machines have difficulty getting readings from but Jimica was patient and encouraging and made it as pleasant as possible. My husband had recommended Dr. Redwood to me and I’m so glad he did. Though I’d never met him, he made me feel comfortable right away and gave me an excellent exam at a pace that I felt relaxed and confident in his advice. He went above and beyond, even sharing a free app that helps “old eyes” read the fine print!! The young woman who helped me choose glasses then measured for my exact needs, confirming with a colleague just to be certain, was also friendly and knowledgeable. Start to finish and great experience and I’ll be going back!

They were very good with my daughter's first full eye exam. They made her feel comfortable and explained what they were doing and why. They were helpful in finding the right pair of glasses.

Instead of making sure insurance would cover my visit, they kept testing me like everything was OK. Not until we were almost done with the exam did they inform me that they were not part of this VSP network. Even though on their website shows VSP is accepted. Now I am out of pocket $69 and I have to get reimbursed from my insurance, and will only get back $45.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was well organized and they all knew what they were doing.

Overpriced and slow

Did not honor protection lens warranty. No help from regional manager or store. Contacted on-line service representative and store manager to no avail. Prices are expensive, will find another store to purchase eyewear in the future.

Been coming here for years with great experiences. Unfortunately dealt with an employee who showed my dad attitude and microaggressions unprovoked. Never coming back even when we have been giving them our business for 10+ years.

The staff was very professional, the lab manager, the associates and the Dr. were all excellent.

Terrible customer service!!! Aaron and staff are very rude and hung up the phone on me after a very rude response! I’m out of country with broken glasses and they refused to send me my own prescription or be cooperative in finding any solution. Overall terrible people to deal with! I’ll never go back here again!!

Aaron is a racist piece of shirt he tried to rip me off with the most expensive lenses without even asking me. $260 for lenses "after insurance" is a scam. On LensCrafters website I chose the polycarbonate lenses with the fancy stuff and it was literally $130. He almost broke the frames I chose while he was measuring. Hating piece of trash

This location is always busy, but they acknowledged me and did let me know there was going to be a little wait, which was fine. The staff provided excellent customer service, were professional and answered all my questions. I recommend coming here, I plan on returning very soon to purchase contacts lenses.

I was apprehensive about going to this location because I'm a creature of habit. Makes my anxiety bad but the entire team I personally encountered was Amazing especially the doctor!!! Thank you

I’d highly recommend coming here. I got my prescription glasses the same day. I usually go to Henry Ford Optim Eyes but was quoted 3-4 weeks to receive my glasses. Samatha was very helpful and cool. She needs raise

I usually never leave reviews for places, but the staff at LensCrafters in Twelve oaks mall is very strange, especially the manager - I believe his name is Jeff. I came in to get new glasses and fell in love with a frame immediately. I got my eye exam and placed an order for my frames which they told would come in 2 weeks time. After one week I called and asked to see if there was any ETA on the frames as I was leaving for a work trip that week and wanted to know if they would be ready before I go. They said the frames were ready that day and to come in once I got their text. I never got the text so I called 2 days later where they picked up the phone and hung up immediately - I then called again and Jeff answered the phone to tell me that the frames were broken and needed to be sent back and get redone. I was perfectly okay with this and carried on, once I did get the text to come in 2 weeks later I picked up my frames. The lady helping me was sweet but didn’t help me align the frames to fit my face - a few weeks later the frames had broken and I needed to get them fixed. When I came back to get them fixed, Jeff told me they were unfixable and discontinued and proceeded to offer me a flimsy cheap frame to replace the broke ones. He also had motioned for another employee to meet him behind the counter and he was speaking to her in a very strange way about how to take me from him to sort out the situation. It seemed really sketchy and that he wanted to get rid of me, or that something was up - I was very frustrated and asked if there was anything else they could do, they said no. By the way, these frames were very expensive and a designer label, I wanted to keep them but they said they could only give me a new pair if I gave them the broken pair which I also thought was very strange. I felt really defeated so I proceeded to go to eyeglass world where the man (Michael) fixed my glasses for me right then and there free of charge, and they also looked up the frame for me and showed me that it was not discontinued, and very fixable. I tried to call LensCrafters 3 times afterwards to ask them about it, they hung up my call each time and left a note saying someone would contact me in 2 business days and no one ever did. I know these are just glasses & ultimately this is a small shop in a mall where they lots of people each day, but the way Jeff handled everything made me feel very uncomfortable and like I was ripped off. He’s incredibly fidgety and uncomfortable to be around, I truly hope they incorporate more trainings on how to be more personable & courteous with clients as I will never come back to this chain again. I’m not an unreasonable person by any means - I’ve been a bartender, server, client advisor, bridal consultant, cashier — I’ve worked many jobs and have dealt with so many kinds of people so I completely understand when mistake arise or policies don’t cover the needs of customers. I was never rude, loud, or demanding of anything and yet I was met with this experience. Please go to another place like Optim eyes or Eyeglass world, and if you do ask for Annie or Michael, you will be doing yourself a great service x

I walked in without an apt. at 9am. I was immediately greeted. I discussed my eye issues, and had an apt a half hour later. Dr. Ray did the exam and he answered my questions in a friendly manner, while giving me clear and concise information. The woman who greeted me and the woman who helped me pick out my frames were friendly yet very professional. I would recommend the Novi Lenscrafter to anyone seeking an eye exam.

I have been a customer for almost 20 years. The reason I came to lens crafters is because of their business model, “glasses in about an hour.” I think they forgot about their business model. Up until about 7 years ago that was true. But not anymore. If you have a prescription that is above what the lab can handle they send it to another lab. I don’t understand that. Either change your business model or live up to the standards you once had. Bad business. Leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

LensCrafter is located in macys at 12 Novi mall. Excellent customer service very skilled at there job let's start with that awesome Manger who goes beyond her duty and is very patient and caring I had a lot of issues to be addressed and she handle all of them with a smile. And my glasses turn out perfect. I also want to thank Fatima 😊 for her hard work. Also, the whole entire staff was so polite I can't wait to go back next year. I highly recommend this location.

My recent visit to LensCrafters in Novi was a noteworthy one, standing out due to their exceptional service and meticulous attention to detail. From the moment I stepped into their store, I was struck by the welcoming atmosphere. The store was impeccable—clean, with the eyeglass frames displayed in a methodically organized fashion. It was evident that those maintaining the store have a clear dedication to creating a pleasant environment for their customers. However, the standout experience was the service I received from a store associate named Laura. Having tripped and damaged my glasses, I was unsure if I had purchased the optional damage coverage because I could not find my original purchase receipt. Laura swiftly pulled up my record, confirming my coverage and putting my concerns at ease. Her sensitivity and adaptability were commendable. Seeing that I was using a cane due to Multiple Sclerosis, Laura immediately offered a more comfortable option—taking a seat and being assisted from there. Additionally, her ability to multitask, assisting me while acknowledging another customer, was impressive. LensCrafters proved to be much more than a glasses store. It's an establishment that prides itself on professionalism, quality and customer service. I am pleased to give them a stellar rating of 10 out of 5 for exceeding my expectations. Their integrity in service and meticulousness in their environment is truly exemplary. If you’re in need of eyewear, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend LensCrafters in Novi. Be sure to ask for Laura, although I am sure all of their associates will provide you with the same exceptional service.

This Lenscrafters is the best. I had some issues with my contact lenses, and the manager, Laura, resolved them with minimal issues. Aaron and Jeff are both so helpful. I cannot recommend this Lenscrafters location enough. My entire family comes to this location, even some from out of town.
