They were 3 ladies looking at glasses when I walked in to Macy’s. What ever happened to customer care, going the extra mile for someone that is at your job looking to make a purchase…. I paid Nearly $900.00 for both pairs and extra for the night vision and blue light coatings. I also paid for the one year guarantee. Shortly after one year the coatings crackled. This has never happened to my glasses before. I called Lens Crafters in February and was told that my guarantee had expired. They made us wait for 45 minutes and wouldn't tell us if our insurance worked at their location after showing it to them 3 times- and almost took my husband back to charge us TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS for an eye exam that is 10$ copay for me down the street. Rather than tell us they couldn't find our insurance- the man was very slow and confused that we didn't want to pay this?!? I was so mad I could cry. They also required us to fill out forms and tried to get us to sign into websites that didn't work and were ineffective on phone screens. Will NEVER return.

The LensCrafters store at Macy's in Fayette Mall in Lexington may be small, but it has an extremely helpful salesperson, making the purchase of glasses a pleasant experience. Misha (the salesperson) is very knowledgeable about the "ins" and "outs" of ordering a pair of glasses and is very attuned to the needs of her customers.

I stopped in store today to look at buying glasses. I already had my prescription from my eye doctor. As soon as I started looking, a lady who was standing next to me said… do you need something…with her cell phone in her hand texting someone. I said yes, I am looking to buy some glasses. She said well the optician is is out til Friday afternoon. I said ok, I already have my prescription. She said but he has to verify your prescription so… I said ok then I will go somewhere else to purchased them. She went back to her phone. They were 3 ladies looking at glasses when I walked in to Macy’s. What ever happened to customer care, going the extra mile for someone that is at your job looking to make a purchase…. Very sad

They asked if I wear a baseball cap to get a proper fit for active wearing of my glasses. Had me get a cap to insure a proper fit. I checked at the Lexington Green store for selection. I returned to check my fitting and finalized my purchase.

The associate I dealt with was fantastic. I believe her name was Sheila and she was the store market manager. I came in not really knowing what I wanted for a pair of new prescription glasses and had a few questions. She was super friendly and very knowledgeable and got me taken care of In a timely manner and I was very happy with my purchase and experience!

Absolutely disgraceful experience. Avoid this place. Not one member of staff here know what they are doing. Left me sitting close to an hour before telling they were treating me as a walk in (I had an appointment). I had completed my in take forms as requested with the required notice, they tell me I had to resubmit them after I had been there close to an hour.

We had a great experience today here & would highly recommend. We originally had appointments for our kids at another Lens Crafters but on our way there today they called & cancelled. We live about an hour away & since we had already started on the road I was searching for another place that took our insurance that could get our kids in today. This was the last place I called & the gentleman was super friendly & got both my kids in within 30 minutes. The optometrist was so thorough! She checked so many things out, stuff I’ve never seen eye drs check before. The lady that helped us check out at the end & order glasses was phenomenal. I would highly recommend this particular Lens Crafters!

Sheila was extremely helpful and was able to adjust my prescription Ray Bans for me right there on the spot! She took the utmost care and did everything to fine tune them and ensure that they were the perfect fit for my face. She also let me know that I’m able to get my customizations done in store (which is something I’ve always done online, but I love the idea of being able to try the glass before I purchase them). I definitely recommend Sheila and Team at LensCrafters in Macys at Fayette Mall
