I bought two pairs of glasses. One pair worked out well, and the other pair was a disaster. I had problems with internal parasitic reflections off of the anti-reflection coating. At night, these reflections caused green spots to float in the center of my field of view when there was a bright light source nearby. In the process of trying to resolve the issue, I dealt with five different opticians and staff members, three of whom were not even willing to try to reproduce the problem, much less seemed to know enough basic optics to diagnose the problem competently. The proposed solutions usually started with letting them rebend the glasses, which not only did not eliminate the problem but often made the fit of the glasses uncomfortable. As a last resort, a couple of the opticians sent the lenses to be remade by the same company that could not get the coatings right in the first place. When I got them back, they seemed surprised that these parasitic reflections persisted in the remade glasses.
In the end, only one of the opticians was able to reproduce the problem and was able to offer a constructive solution. However, in the end, Lenscrafters'supplier could not make the glasses work for me. So, I wasted over ten hours of my time over three months and did not benefit from the Lenscrafters' discount for purchasing two pairs of glasses. - 5 out of 5.0Rating 5.0Great experience, LOVE my new glasses!
