I keep returning to this location for Dr. Lawless. However, Dr. Ford saw me today, and she was fantastic. She was thorough and efficient and provided great explanations for my prescription changes. I also received excellent help during my pre-screen and eyeglass fitting experiences. Overall, I had an all-around positive experience and will continue to come to this location every year.

Amazing staff!

I returned some glasses before the 30-day return period and decided to go with another pair because I wasn't completely happy with the first. Somehow, I ended up paying almost double what the new pair cost after my refund was applied and insurance. Turns out I was charged extra for things such as anti-glare and a couple other things as add ons when they were already a feature in the Ray-Ban smart glasses I purchased. Not only did I pay for things that were already included in the lenses, I was told to add transition lenses would cost an additional 230 bucks. Seemed as though the folks working the Calumet city location either have limited knowledge on billing and insurance or commission is their sole purpose. I politely left this branch and made my way to the schererville location, where I only paid 28 dollars for my lens upgrade and was shown 9 different color options as opposed to Calumet city's 4. I like lenscrafters don't get me wrong, but location is everything. Don't be over charged people!

After the New Year holiday I saw that Lenscrafters was having a sale, so I came in to see Sheena, the consultant whom I always work with, because she is so good at what she does! Last year, when she helped me with a purchase of sunglasses, she also helped me find frames for clear lenses to purchase later. She knows what I like and saved me time in that selection, so, because I used my insurance on the sunglasses last year, she put the frames for the clear lenses in my profile so that I could proceed with purchasing them after Jan.1, 2025, when my insurance would cover them. That's what we just did a few days ago. It was quick and easy, and I'm so looking forward to picking up my new glasses soon!

My visit to LensCrafters was a last minute visit . I needed to purchase a pair of eye glasses before my Insurance allowance ended. The minute I walked in the door until my purchase was completed, the customer service was great . The whole process went so well ,I was very happy.

Staff was very attentive as soon as I entered the store. Short wait time. Great selection of frames to choose from. Dr Lawless takes the time to explain everything which I really appreciate. Christina helped me choose a great pair of glasses and got me through the checkout process quickly.

Dr. Lawless and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of frames. I would highly recommend this location for all your eye care needs.

We arrived at 10 am to pick up an order after being notified that 2 pairs of eyewear were ready. The door was locked and a worker came to unlock the door and walked away without extendimg the courtesy of opening the door or greeting her customers. Once inside, we were then told that one of the items was not ready, so we unfortunately will have to return to this location. After that return we will not do business at this location.

The entire team there is very professional and pleasant. Brenda Simmons was my optometrist that saw me and she was amazing. Her energy was very warming and calming. Love it. She’s the best.

Dr. Lawless was Very professional, knowledgeable and kind. Took his time and explained results and listened to my concerns, addressing them all. Was treated respectfully and not like an assembly line to be rushed. I would highly recommend him. LensCrafters was very clean and updated with all equipment. Staff was professional and Sandra, who assisted was the best! Came in anxious and left totally at ease and reassured that all was well!

Dr. Lawless is phenomenal. He’s very patients and takes his time to explain everything. He has a great presence that puts anyone at ease.

I've been going here for years. The staff and doctors are usually friendly, and knowledgeable. I like their collection of frames though they are a little pricey. On my last visit, I forgot to take my vision insurance card with me, but they were able to look up my details without giving me any attitude or making me feel stupid for leaving that at home. Lol!

The service here is always the best when I com in. They’re very fast and efficient and reliable when it comes to looking for frames. I’ve been going to this location for 4 years now and the Optometrist is also so nice!

Exceptional customer service experience. The representative (Cristina) was awesome!. She maximized my insurance benefits and allowances, to endure that I receive the best discount. She was also able to order a frame for me that other locations stated was not available. This particular Lenscrafters location, provides a level of service that all other locations should try to do.

So lovely. They greet you when you come in 😄. The chefs kiss is the fact the lady was dedicated to helping me find a new frame for my lenses.

Purchased 3 pairs of glasses from this location. Upon trying to return one pair the lady asked if it was because I needed the money. Couldn’t help but feel offended.

My visit to LensCrafters in Calumet City to get an eye exam and purchase eyewear was a very nice experience. I was greeted immediately by the staff. Nice professional atmosphere. While waiting, I was told to feel free to look and select from the nice frame selections. Their salespeople are very helpful. My salesperson (Sandra) brought more frames to me, when I told her what I was looking for. O.D. Brenda Simons made my visit a more professional experience with her nice rapport, and knowledge of optometry. Thank you LensCrafters! Can't wait to get my new purchases.
