Although I would love to give five stars for the amazing service I received from Dr. Suen, who was very detailed took her time on my exam really showed that she cared about providing me quality care, and her exam was by far the best exam I’ve had in my many years of wearing glasses and contacts which says a lot. You can tell she is definitely a Doctor Who cares! She provided me so much details and we went over a lot of information. I received a trial which I believe was for a new brand which I did not mind doing. However, it turns out that I had an infection. I’m not sure if it was due to the brand or due to my own negligence. Either way I came in in hopes to find her there however I was greeted by two ladies upfront one of them was very lovely. She was Hispanic with glasses, completely different demeanor, and customer service provided from her vs the other lady, which I believe her name is Bri from what she told me over the phone today when I asked her before ending the call because I knew it was the same lady I saw and spoke to when I went there a few days ago who was honestly so uncomfortable to be around because of the attitude she carried with her although I was talking to the Hispanic lady she kept interrupting, and every time she kept speaking, it was negative. It was with an attitude, and when I would say something she would contradict or tell me it’s not that or she would tell me that the information I was given is not correct when I would tell her I was given different information from the doctor and another lady when I was here and then told her that I would come back when the doctor is there so that I can get the correct information and she sits there and says “it doesn’t matter if you do it here or if you do it online, it’s gonna be the same thing that I’m telling you” the sense of entitlement is too much her customer care service is so poor! Yet, I remained kind and calm rather than doing what I normally do to employees that try and treat customers and or patients the way she did with me in person and yet again today over the phone…she lied and told me about not being able to get trials unless the doctor approves it because the Dr only uses those trials for her exam patients & refused to acknowledge that when I was there in person, they were going to give me the trials because my exam was only 2 months ago & given my circumstances I think it’s more than fair to accommodate my request. Why when I was there in person did you not say that? Because you can’t lie in front of your coworker maybe but you can lie over the phone. Stating you can’t give trials the Dr. won’t allow it, only for her exam patients which I was 2 months ago but ok. Now I feel like when I was there in person she lied and said there was none in stock just to not provide trials cus over the phone she stated “I will let Dr. know that’s all you’re looking for is more trials” EXCUSE ME?! Not at all what I said but definitely now see why you keep lying about the trials for the second time now. Terrible! I think she thinks that I don’t know she’s the same lady I saw when I was there but how could you forget that attitude when it’s so strong even over the phone? How does someone hire her for any type of customer care or to work with people? She is horrible and she makes me very uncomfortable to ask any questions I should feel comfortable asking as a patient as well as valid concerns. She is very demeaning does not listen and wants to be right has an attitude and is not there to help it. She is there to basically shut you down & not give you the answer you’re looking for but you just know in your gut that she does not want to help you and it’s not for whatever excuse she gives you because she clearly contradicted herself over the phone and in person with the trials. She isn’t there to help I felt it that the day I was there & I can feel it over the phone. I will definitely be filing a complaint. We paid for your services yet you make it so hard for simple request to be done. I will be there Monday when Dr. Suen is there .

Dr Donna Li was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when I asked for tips for my dry eyes and for help on how to avoid blepheritis (which I recovered from 2 weeks ago). She went above and beyond addressing all of my eye concerns. Also, she was extremely patient and ensured my contact lens fit properly before I left my appointment. I highly appreciate her help and would highly recommend to go to her. The staff was also helpful and patient in giving me an estimate on eyeglasses that I was interested in purchasing. Overall I had a wonderful experience.

Yeah I had booked an appointment last week through the phone and to makes sure I called ahead of time an hour before of the day it was scheduled and turns out the appointment wasn’t there. Lovely Doctor though she’s amazing!

While I love the doctor at this location, I called in an hour beforehand to get a copy of my prescription so that I could place an order on LensCrafters.com. When I arrived the woman at the front desk told me it was printed out and went to grab it. She came back empty handed and stated I needed to wait for the doctor to finish up with a patient it could be anywhere between 20-30 minutes. When I inquired as to why it would take that long she gave me an attitude and stated “I don’t know what you tell you, you need to wait. “ When she walked away I went up to another employee (Hispanic with glasses) and asked her for a copy of my prescription and she happily went and grabbed it for me. She was very helpful and deserves 5 stars. Unlike the other two women there that were not helpful whatsoever and made it difficult to get something as simple as my prescription. Needless to say I’ll be getting my glasses elsewhere now and I will not be returning to this location despite it being 5 minutes away from my home.

Dr Suen at the Berwyn location is extremely kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. She explains everything so well, takes extra time to troubleshoot issues I’ve been having with my eye health, handles prescriptions or recommends the right eye drops (Walgreens conveniently close), and offered her availability for a call if I have more questions. Everyone in the front is so helpful as well to understand my insurance or offer payment options. Easy parking and nice store too with lots of frames!

Lenscrafters, as always been a good choice for me.They always have a lot of new and cool designs for glasses.Their workers are always knowledgeable of the product.They try to give you the good rates available.

Had an appointment for an eye exam. They sent a link to do my paperwork before the appointment, while doing it I couldn’t find the name of my insurance so I decided to just go to the appointment. There I told the receptionist I had insurance and provided insurance information. She proceeded to check the insurance and told me my insurance was inactive, she then makes a comment “this is why we do everything in advance” I understood her point of view, but I had explained to her that I didn’t find my insurance in the list they provided and I apologize, nevertheless I told her I would keep my appointment and paid out of pocket. While waiting I called my insurance and was told my insurance was active and had all my benefits. The insurance agent asked me if there was someone who she could speak to. I asked the same girl if she could talk with the agent, she agreed and when I handed her the phone she again made the same comment “ This is why we do things ahead” You said what you thought and I respected that and apologized, but making the same comment again showed your lack of professionalism, caring and respect for the patients that allows you to get a check!! If you don’t like your job or helping patients get a different where customer service is not involve.

Fantastic place. They are more about helping you than trying to add on extra money for things not needed like other eye drs.

Great customer service experience as always. I have small kids so the staff was very helpful as I tried to take my exam and pick my glasses. They gave my little guy free stickers, candy, and he hand a great time while I got my glasses! The doctor took her time and I didn’t feel rushed as I have felt at other stores. The manager is always helpful and helped me choose the best frame for my big head!

Melonise was polite , professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Made me feel welcome. Was also patient while I was picking out my glasses.

The woman who helped me put so much effort into helping me I couldn’t help but appreciate her. Terrific service very impressive.

My boyfriend booked an appointment for him and I to get eye exams and new glasses. He got a call back that they need my insurance information, but he is at work and can't provide them with the info at the moment. I call them and the lady who got my phone call pulls up my information and says I understand that you are insured with BCBS; unfortunately that's a health insurance and not a vision insurance. I explain to her that BCBS also has vision plans and insure vision. She then proceeds to tell me it is only a program. I tell her I am pretty sure it's not just a program, otherwise I wouldn't be holding an insurance card on my hand that states vision insurance from BCBS, with a member ID different from my health insurance. She then proceeds to tell me, that they can't take my insurance, and that there are no longer appointments available. Funny thing is, I went to their website and it says they accept it, and my insurance also states that they work with them.

great experience, the staff here is the best. been to plenty of other LensCrafters (oak brook especially) and have had subpar service honestly, but here, they have been able to address any and every issue ive had along with being very accommodating. everyone i delt with both in the front office and doctors were very helpful in figuring out the best way to go. big thanks to doctor Nancy Suen.

i was dreading having to go in and waste a beautiful sunny afternoon but was surprised it was super quick. great customer service , i was in and out. Dr. Suen in particular was delightful, funny and made my visit enjoyable and not a chore.

I’ve been going to this location for 5+ years and always have great experiences with both the optometrists and customer service. Yesterday, Melonise helped me and was extremely knowledgeable , patient and helpful! My brand of contacts were discounted and she worked with the doctor to help me find a good alternative brand and was really patient and helpful throughout the process. She was also doing this during peak hours where the store was busy and stayed really collected and calm to help manage the flow of other customers. I was really grateful for her help and appreciate her going above and beyond!

I wouldn’t recommend this location. For 10 minutes late they wouldn't take my appointment. I understand time is important and thats why we make appointments but for 10 minutes late ? I usually go to oak brook center and never had an issue but until now I wanted to give this place a try . Never again will I come to this location. Oak brook lenscrafters have more eye wear varieties and there custumer service is 5 stars !!!

I love the staff in the store the doctor was very patient with me and the tech was very helpful in finding frames for me.
