- Manager is very rude and always chewing gum so unprofessional. The staff is not properly trained, I was given incorrect information. They are also understaffed. - We wasted our time as we returned two orders, one from my wife and another one from mine, totaling $1,133.19. My wife’s glasses were poorly crafted as both lenses showed the cut borders outside the frame; the manager examined them and erroneously said the same would happen with any frame, but added that IF we would have chosen smaller frames (which we were never advised) we would not have such issue (both statements contradict each other). Lenscrafters did not accept any responsibility.
The second pair of glasses (mine) were also poorly crafted, as they worsened my vision even though the prescription was correct; the Licensed Optometrist rotated the lenses in the frame, in addition to other adjustments, but the problem worsened; then erroneously said that the issue was because the frame was larger than it should, so once more Lenscrafters did not accept any responsibility.
Our experience with Lenscrafters was poor craftsmanship and bad customer service reflected by lack of care and even basic courtesy, as the phrase "Sorry for the inconvenience" was never heard. The staff at that site do not represent well the Lenscrafters brand. They need training in product knowledge, effective communication and basic customer support. Also, they must learn to accept responsibility without trying to place the blame on the customer.
