Macy's - Westfarms

Veronica and Lisbeth were extremely helpful and very pleasant to work with. This location is always friendly and helpful.

Went into the store looking for a pair of Oakleys and had an amazing experience with the Store Manager Veronica. She was knowledgeable, thorough and really took the time to understand what exactly I was looking for.

The doctor and staff are thorough and thoughtful. They are obviously interested in each customer.

Dr. Matuszewski was very thorough. She was patient and answered questions directly. She checked and double checked concerns. She explained the process and what she was observing during the exam. Christian was the best lens consultant our family has ever experienced. He was able to guide you to lens selections and recommendations quickly and effectively. He honored price points. Christian was kind and has a great personality. Both great assets to LensCrafters.

Extremely rude staff. One younger woman working alone, not busy as I was the only customer there. When I entered, she asked if I had a prescription and yes, I had just gotten an eye exam at the lens crafters inside the mall. She then told me I cannot try on any glasses. I asked her how could I order glasses if I can’t try any on? She answered that I’m only allowed to try on 3 pairs. I left and purchased my frames and lenses elsewhere. Horrible service and apparently she has a bad reputation, so why is she still employed??

My husband and I both had appointments on the same day and Dr Pam and Christian were both very patient with us. We were both getting tested and purchasing eye glasses and me contacts for the very first time. The time they both took with us was great Dr Pam even taught me how to put my contact lenses in on that day. I highly recommend going to the LensCrafters inside of Macy’s at West Farms.

First time at this Lescrafters in Macys. Christian was awesome!! Took the time to explain everything to me and was so patient with me as I tried on numerous pairs of glasses and helped me pick just the right pair of glasses and sunglasses

Christian was the best rep/manager of LensCrafters i’ve ever encountered. I recommend dealing with him. Excellent service!

Excellent service and care. Christian took the time needed to help me find what looked best with my budget. He even called my insurer. The only draw nack to this Macys store is I cannot use the lens crafter credit card for my purchases

I have been going to this location for my eye care for years. Christian is wonderful at what he does and goes over and beyond to insure I get the best deal and the best service possible. The doctor is very thorough and I trust her 100%. I strongly encourage everyone to go to this location.

Appointment on 1/30/2020 for 7:00PM. Arrived 10 minutes early as advised by the email received after registering online. After waiting till 7:15PM I decided to walk away. I would have stayed if someone greeted and gave me the paperwork to fill out (the reason for arriving 10 min early) or helped me understand they were running behind and I could come back at lets say 7:30PM. Unfortunately, none of this happened. This seemed like a really convenient place to get your prescription when looking online, but as I experienced looks can be deceiving.

I recently accompanied a friend to LensCrafters at Macy’s in the West Farms Mall. While I have needed new eyeglasses for years, I had no intention to purchase them on that day. However, I was very impressed by the professionalism and demeanor of the LensCrafters manager, Christian, who was assisting my friend and I ended up ordering two new pairs of eyeglasses for myself. If you need a pair of eyeglasses or if you are simply interested in seeing what is available, I strongly recommend that you visit and ask for Christian at this LensCrafters location. His product knowledge is superb and he assisted me in selecting the right frames and lenses for my needs. He is also talented and precise about fitting. Personally, he is very patient and a good listener who assists you to meet your needs rather than promote specific products. He is also forthcoming with promotions and discounts available on eyeglass purchases that may significantly reduce the price … be sure to let him know if you are an AARP member, AAA member, retired or active military member, or a member of any other organization ... you may be surprised at the discounts available. I strongly recommend this LensCrafters at Macy’s in the West Farms Mall and to ask for their manager, Christian, to attend to you. Jim B

I had a great experience getting an eye exam with Dr. Pamela Matuszewski at the Macy's Lenscrafters. She was very kind and thorough. Unlike other doctors there is no pressure to get contacts or unwanted products. For getting the actual glasses after the exam I recommend taking your prescription to the main Lenscrafters location in the mall rather than the Macy's outlet, as they have a much larger selection of frames.

I want to write this review based on the customer service I received today at Lenscrafters store #3233 inside Macy's at Westfarms Mall. I have been to three separate Lenscrafters and they are BY FAR the most helpful and friendly location in CT. After going to the location where I purchased my glasses to get them adjusted, I left unsatisfied with the people who were working and the way the glasses were adjusted. I was told "That is how they are supposed to be". Knowing that there was a Lenscrafters inside Macy's, I decided to see what they had to say. There were two customers ahead of me but Dave greeted me and said he could help me in a few minutes. While I was waiting, Christian came back from lunch and immediately asked if he could help me. I told him my situation and asked if he could help even though I didn't purchase the glasses from them. He gladly sat me down and worked on them until they were perfect. He took his time and got them right, unlike the other location where I was there less than 5 minutes and told "They are good". While I was there, Dave was working another persons glasses and he put the same time and attention into them as Christian did with mine. After my glasses were adjusted, I asked Christian a few questions which he answered with facts and advice. I was more than pleased when I left the store. I purchase glasses at least once a year and I will NO DOUBT return to Lenscrafters in Macy's next time. Thank you Christian and Dave!
