Frank, the manager, was absolutely incredible! The day before our wedding, I was in a panic after realizing my contact lens was creased. Being from out of town, we rushed to LensCrafters, hoping for a solution. Frank went above and beyond—he not only empathized with our situation but took it upon himself to find a trial pair that matched my prescription almost perfectly (and possibly even better!). His kindness, patience, and genuine willingness to help turned what could have been a stressful moment into a truly heartwarming experience. Frank is an absolute gem, and his outstanding service deserves all the recognition!

This was actually my first time at Lenscrafters, even though I know it has been here forever. My experience was so very excellent! Support staff are truly wonderful and Dr. Krochmal is efficient and professional. They are great. Service could not be better.

I came to get a prescription filled from another doctor who didn't have the frame I wanted. Rigo was excellent at helping me with deciding on the frame size and lenses to get. He also handled my out of network insurance claim with a better result and much less hassle for me than if I had to deal directly with the insurance. All in all a quick, very professional, pleasant and productive experience.

Bait-and-switch: inundated with dozens of options, it came down to two frames - cheaper frames that worked as simple readers or more expensive frames that worked with progressive lenses. While leaning towards the readers, the store market manager eventually upsold me to the expensive frames with progressive lenses after showing me price comparisons with their in-store offers. 10 days later, the inexpensive frames with expensive progressive lenses arrive. I explained these were not the frames I ordered, but the manager said she didn't know what happened and that the person who sold me the expensive frames had left the cheaper frames on the order form by mistake. Rather than honoring their original price, the manager wanted to charge me an additional $90 for the frame/lens combination I initially ordered. I cancelled the order and walked out of the store.

A very good costumer service

I wish I would have read the reviews prior to making an appointment for my husband. Jessica’s attitude was something to behold. We were mislead by the call center and told a lab was on site. Right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing. Worst customer service ever. After accusing us of being rude and deflecting blame to anyone she could, she promised to call back and never did. I filed an online complaint with corporate and only then did the real manager call back. Jessica didn’t see fit to tell her boss about the issue so he was surprised when he got the notification. Waiting for a call from corporate. Never again!

Stopped by to see if we could get my husband’s glasses adjusted. Georgette helped us quickly, with a friendly, upbeat attitude. Glasses fixed and for no charge! Thanks Georgette! You made our day!

Honestly, the best experience ever! Everyone is super nice and very helpful. Dr. K is smart and efficient. Ashley was intelligent and sweet. Riggo knew his stuff and Georgia helped too. I am excited to get to return next year for another annual exam.

So helpful and friendly! I bought sunglasses online that aren’t from Lens Crafters and the arms were loose and super stiff so I brought them in to see if they can just tighten the loose one. They ended up switching the screws in both my sunglasses and made them so much better! Free of charge too :) highly recommend this place!

I went in today for an exam and hopefully to get new lens and frames. At first everything was fine. They checked my insurance card and said everything was fine. So I went ahead and did everything. But when I checked out, the girl Jessica was getting so frustrated with me. I asked if I could get my current glasses tightened up. She looked at me like I was asking her to do 130 pushups! She said ‘well it’s only me here so you’ll have to be patient “. Which I understood and was fine with that. Although there were two other people working there. She finally asked another coworker to tighten my glasses and that person gladly did it. But after about 10 min of her trying to figure out my coverage, she said that my visit and everything else was not covered. During the time she spent looking up my info, every time I would ask her a question, she would just say be patient. I finally told her that I was being patient! She was so irritated and flustered that it made for a very uncomfortable visit. Only to find out that after all that, my insurance was not honored there. I had given them my insurance card when I first arrived and they said everything’s good and continued with the visit only to find out it was not even covered. Very frustrating and kind of ruined my afternoon. Never again. Even though I had a positive experience the year before. Maybe get more help?

LensCrafters is excellent! My Prada sunglasses were broken and they fixed them in less than 5 mins as a complimentary service. I’ll forever be a LensCrafters client!

We stopped by LensCrafters on Upper State St. in Santa Barbara, to both look at glasses and to repair the glasses that I had that I did not purchase at LensCrafters. Upon walking in the door, we were greeted by Rigo, who asked us how he could help. I showed him my damaged nose piece and he said “I can fix that“ and disappeared for 3 1/2 minutes. He then returned with my fixed glasses. There was no charge! Rigo was very nice, very professional, and did an excellent job.

On Tuesday, we went to LensCrafters for Dad to finally get new eyeglasses. While there, he paid extra for an additional test and we are so glad he did. The test showed he had a retinal tear in his left eye. Yesterday he called his ophthalmologist but the office said he would have to see a different type of surgeon who specializes in retinopathy. The gave us an appt this afternoon in SLO. Saw Dr Daniel Agarwal and he will do a laser procedure next Thursday, the 18th, right in their offices. This procedure will build up a scar around the tear so it cannot enlarge. Takes about 30 mins.

Randomly wandered in late in the afternoon on a Tuesday because I'd somehow managed to lose a nose pad on my glasses (no idea how) and about 5 minutes later it was fixed – Thanks, Georgette!

Highly recommended!! Brought a pair of broken sunglasses in to be fixed that 2 previous places said were broken beyond repair. They fixed them within 5 minutes and didn’t charge me anything. Soo grateful!!

I was visiting my daughter in Santa Barbara and somehow bent my new vogue sunglasses. I had been into the Santa Barbara La Combre Plaza Lens Crafters with my daughter in the past, so I thought maybe they could fix my glasses. There was no hesitation in helping me, and the service was free! Caliah and the eye glass maker were a huge help in fixing them! I was in and out of there in 15 minutes! Even though I didn’t buy them there, the customer service was amazing, and I will definitely be using LensCrafters in the future!
